Taylor Community Foundation (TCF) is a publicly supported charitable organization that exists for purposes that are beneficial to the public interest. The immediate benefits of our 501(c)(3) status to you generally includes your eligibility to receive a federal income tax deduction for charitable contributions made to us (see IRS Determination Letter).
As a community foundation, TCF is unique in that it serves as an administrator of what is essentially a community endowment: a collection of gifts large and small, unrestricted and donor-advised, given to enhance the quality of life for the citizens of the TCF Service Area.
Those who give to our community through TCF want the impact of their contributions to be felt today and tomorrow. They know that giving is most effective when part of a coordinated plan to address specific community needs, now and as our communities change.
Community foundations are the fastest growing charitable sector in the United States. The Taylor Community Foundation provides to our donors the opportunity to make the TCF Service Area a better place to live and work.
