Unrestricted Gifts

  Unrestricted gifts provide TCF with the maximum amount of financial flexibility to meet immediate and pressing needs in the community. The Foundation staff, board, and its committees are responsible for the careful stewardship of your generosity.  
 
 

Restricted Gifts

  Making a restricted gift allows our donors to designate the specific fund and/or purpose they would like to support. When using this option, please make sure to enter your preference in the box provided.  
 
 
  The following is a list of our current programs and funds. For more information about each, click on the name (where available).  
 
 
  Allied Health Scholarships
Supports students who are interested in pursuing an undergraduate degree in an allied health profession and who currently live in the TCF Service Area. Ideally, TCF Scholars will return to directly improve the lives of residents in our communities.
 
 
 
 
  Community Grants Fund
Enhances the quality of life in our communities, primarily by addressing health and wellness needs.
 
 
 
 
  Health Awareness Day
Provides health awareness education, information, resources, and on-site health screenings with the goal of improving the health of the residents of Delaware County and surrounding communities.
 
 
 
 
  Hospice Legacy Fund
Supports the maintenance of the Hospice House and the beautification of the reflective spaces in the Memorial Garden, and assists with remembrance events. The fund also assists patients and their families to celebrate a lasting memory or help fulfill a dream through the Lasting Memories program.
 
 
 
 
  Hospice Memorial Garden and Walkway
Provides a memorial in a beautiful and tranquil setting, to be enjoyed for many years to come by hospice patients, family, and friends. TCF offers several options for honoring donors and/or their loved ones:
  • Walkway Brick ($300) - Your brick will be engraved with your personal message.
  • Landscaping ($500) - Contributors to the purchase and placement of trees and shrubbery will be recognized on a plaque on display in the Gazebo area.
  • Lighting ($1,000) - Contributors to the purchase of lighting will be recognized on a plaque on display in the Gazebo area.
  • Sitting Wall ($1,500) - Contributors to the Sitting Wall will be recognized on a plaque on display in the Gazebo area.
 



Memorial Garden Options:
 
 
 
  Kara Barnard Fund for Youth Literacy
Supports the literacy needs of families by funding programs that inspire young readers and by helping children in need to nurture their imaginations and build their own libraries.
 
 
 
 
  Play for the A's
Supports the battle against Alzheimer's Disease by raising funds to offer support services to families affected by this dreaded disease. Our annual high school boys' lacrosse event at Strath Haven High School serves as the catalyst for our support of this important work.
 
 
 
 
  Ridley Swimming Fund
Supports the swimmers and divers of Ridley High School by helping to maintain the Ridley natatorium facility and to ensure that the swimmers and divers have access to the finest training equipment available.
 
 
 
 
  Vest–A–Cop
Provides first responders with life-saving equipment and bullet-proof vests.
